Our Founders

Felix Staeritz, CEO

Felix founded his first company aged just 16, and is a serial entrepreneur, digital growth expert and investor. He has gone on to found several startups and platforms, including the successful food delivery service KochAbo, later merging with MarleySpoon – which IPOed for $150m. He has also invested in a number of digital businesses, including ShareTheMeal, the world’s first app against global hunger. Furthermore, Felix engages as a Digital Leader at the World Economic Forum, is a Member of the Board of Entrepreneurship at Vattenfall, a mentor at the Founder Festival and a business angel.

Michael Stephanblome, CSO

Michael has over 16 years of experience as an investor and a serial entrepreneur. In addition to his duties at FACTOR10, Michael is a Venture Partner at investment firm Eight Roads; the proprietary investment arm of Fidelity International. He also serves as a member of the Advisory Board at Burda Forward, as well as the Board of Entrepreneurship at Vattenfall, and is a Digital Leader at the World Economic Forum. Michael has served as Founder, CEO, and MD of several other internet companies, such as typeless, IgnitionOne, and adjug.

Andreas von Oettingen, CTO

Having founded his first company at the age of 18, Andreas has since developed into a passionate serial entrepreneur, tech expert and consultant. As team lead at Rocket Internet, the Berlin-based global internet company, he created the high performance e-commerce platform ‘Alice’. Furthermore, Andreas has served as the CTO of e-commerce platform Crowdfox, and has also held a lead position at the company builder Project A Ventures. As a pioneer in insurtech, Andreas founded biometric Software, which was acquired by Onesty Group.

Markus Fuhrmann
Markus co-founded Delivery Hero, the food delivery unicorn with one of the most successful IPOs in Germany. He is the co-founder of DOJO Madness, a Berlin-based eSports startup. Previously, Markus was partner at Team Europe Ventures, co-founded the Web2Asia incubator, served as an adviser at the Austrian VC firm Gamma Capital Partners and has made various angel investments in internet startups.
Jochen M. Wilms
Jochen is a business leader with over 25 years of industry, consulting and investor experience. He spent 10 years as the General Manager of media group Bertelsmann and as Managing Director during the company’s transition phase to digital. Thereafter, he took the responsibility for Schüco and later worked with Grohe. Jochen is a senior advisor and chairman to numerous international leading companies in the building, retail, IT and media industry in Europe, Asia and the US and is invested in several leading digital startups and more mature companies.
Claus Moseholm
Claus works with and invests in technology enabled media businesses and SaaS businesses within transportation, education, advertising and gaming. Before co-founding goviral (acquired by AOL in 2011 for 97m USD), he was involved in several startups, including the award-winning creative agency Home Sweet Home which he established and directed in his native country Denmark. Furthermore, he was an investor and COO at GameAnalytics acquired by Mobvista.
Jürgen Furian
Jürgen is the co-founder of Pioneers.io which focuses on early stage tech investments, rapid prototyping and small & large scale tech events. Jürgen has been responsible for building up the Pioneers Brand and Pioneers Festival, one of Europe’s most renown tech festivals. Prior to Pioneers, Jürgen co-founded the event series Startup Live which takes place all over Europe and created an extensive network of startups, entrepreneurs, investors and experts.
Simon Torrance
Simon is a specialist in business model transformation and author/presenter of the New Growth Playbook. He works with Leaders, Executive Teams and Boards to create and implement new growth strategies based around the new disciplines of ‘Platform Thinking’, ‘Digital Ecosystem Management’ and ‘Venture Building’. His clients include: Deutsche Bank, SAP, Accenture, Sky, Informa, World Economic Forum, MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy and Singularity University.
Holger Ewald
Holger is an experienced entrepreneur and Chief Information Officer with a demonstrated history of simplifying complexity and digitizing the industrial automation, transportation and telecommunication industry. In 2017, he was awarded “CIO of the year”. He co-founded Giromail GmbH and was not only involved as CIO at Deutsche Bahn Netz but also worked for Siemens AG as Vice President Software and Corporate Account Management.
Lionel Paillet
Lionel has broad experience in startup stage companies and has shaped the paths of leading tech companies in senior leadership roles. He served as the General Manager of the European branch of Nest Labs (acquired by Google), EMEiA Director at Apple Inc. under Steve Jobs and Tim Cook and member of Apple european leadership team as well as EMEiA Director Sales and Marketing at Splash Technology pre and post IPO until acquisition.
Michael Ströck
Michael is an investor and serial entrepreneur in the consumer internet (KochAbo; exit to Marley Spoon) and enterprise SaaS spaces. He previously also launched and grew successful open source projects (Vienna RSS; over 10 million downloads), as well as various community and charity projects (FounderTalks.org, Chancen:reich). He splits his time between San Francisco and Vienna.
